Technician in EngineeringThe Lab Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation and safe running of various laboratory, workshop and practical spaces utilised by the Faculty of Engineering and Computing within the Letterkenny campus. The role is varied and diverse, with key duties include managing equipment setup and calibration, coordinating repairs, and planning and tracking preventative maintenance schedules and maintaining accurate records. The technician will also play a key role in relation to health and safety management and documentation within lab and practical spaces and provide support to Lecturers in the faculty during delivery of practical classes as required.
