Lecturer in Advanced Manufacturing (Operation Excellence)
The Department of Electronic, Software and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering is one of the five departments in the School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, and the department has over 400 full-time and part-time students registered on level 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 programmes.
Programme delivery modes include part-time, full-time, blended learning and apprenticeships. The department offers programmes in the fields of electronics, software, manufacturing, automation & robotics. Many of these programmes are professional accredited and/or are in the process of being accredited by Engineers Ireland.
To aid with the delivery of these programmes, the department are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team.
The Lecturer will play a crucial role in bringing industry standard practice to academia and assist in the development of programmes and modules at all levels for full-time and part-time students.
The successful candidates will deliver modules across the different programme in the department. The position is well-suited for an individual who has significant experience in implementing operation excellence in the manufacturing industry and is passionate about teaching and transferring engineering knowledge, practices and experiences.
