Job Description Shape the Future of Global Pharmaceutical Supply Chains Supply Chain Analyst - CMO Focus Imagine joining a global pharmaceutical organisation where your expertise in supply chain planning and external manufacturing helps ensure life-changing medicines reach patients around the world. As a Supply Chain Analyst - CMO Focus, you'll play a critical role in supporting contract manufacturing operations, coordinating supply activities across a network of Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), and ensuring the uninterrupted supply of pharmaceutical products. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional looking to build on their experience within a GMP-regulated environment while gaining exposure to external manufacturing, supply planning, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Finance, and Logistics teams, you'll help drive supply continuity across a complex global manufacturing network. What you'll achieve (and why it matters): You'll play a key role in ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time by: Managing supply planning activities across external manufacturing partners and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) Monitoring inventory levels, production schedules, and material availability to minimise supply risks and maintain continuity Collaborating with external manufacturers to coordinate production plans, deliveries, and shipment schedules Analysing demand, inventory, and supply data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and supply review processes Working closely with Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to resolve supply issues and drive operational excellence Monitoring key supply chain performance metrics, including inventory, service levels, and delivery performance Supporting product launches, lifecycle changes, artwork updates, and other supply chain initiatives Maintaining accurate planning and inventory data within SAP or other ERP systems Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across external supply chain operations Building strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners Supporting a culture of compliance, quality, and operational excellence within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment Your edge (desired, not required): Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Logistics, or a related discipline Experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, or External Manufacturing Experience working with CMOs, CDMOs, or outsourced manufacturing partners is highly desirable Previous experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or another regulated manufacturing environment Understanding of supply planning principles, inventory management, and production scheduling Experience using SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make informed recommendations Advanced Excel skills and experience working with supply chain reporting tools is advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving abilities Why this role matters: This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within one of the most dynamic areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
