Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Finance and Reporting Officer within UCD School of Economics.
RINN Energy is a national, co-led research centre funded by Research Ireland (Taighde Éireann), bringing together leading universities and partners to deliver interdisciplinary research to support the transition to a low-carbon, secure, and resilient energy system.
The RINN Energy Finance and Reporting Officer will directly support the management and reporting of the Centre budget and finances. They will support the RINN Energy Finance Manager with financial management, account management, financial reporting, financial forecasting, development of budgets for research funding submissions, and procurement. They will support the RINN Energy programme manager in project reporting across the Centre and the RINN Energy Business Development manager in negotiating contracts for researchers with industry partners. Within UCD, they will be reporting to the Integration and Innovation Manager and will be responsible for the financial administration and performance monitoring of the Centre's activities at University College Dublin. The successful candidate will manage the UCD research grant budget, ensure compliance with funder and university regulations, and coordinate the timely preparation of financial and programmatic reports for Research Ireland and other stakeholders.
Salary Range: €60,000 - €67,000 Per Annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
