We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our Kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment, supporting our chefs and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our kitchens.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout all kitchen, storage, waste, and back-of-house areas.
- Wash, clean, and correctly store crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all HACCP, food safety, health & safety, and hotel hygiene procedures.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors, bins, delivery areas, and waste facilities.
- Complete daily cleaning schedules to the highest standard.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and use chemicals and colour-coded equipment correctly.
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with kitchen set-up for banqueting and events.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation when required.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions.
What We're Looking For

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Good spoken English.
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
