Letting Agent
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Letting Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, delivering excellent customer service to landlords and tenants, and ensuring properties are managed efficiently and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of residential properties using Letman.
Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
Arrange and conduct property viewings, lease signings, inspections, and inventories.
Advertise properties and manage the letting process from enquiry to move-in.
Vet prospective tenants, verify references, and obtain landlord approval.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs with contractors and monitor completion of works.
Monitor rent payments, follow up on arrears, and support financial processes.
Serve statutory notices in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Acts, including rent setting/review notices, tenancy termination notices, and other tenancy-related notices as required.
Ensure RTB registrations, tenancy documentation, and compliance records are maintained and updated.
Carry out routine property inspections throughout the tenancy, reporting on property condition and addressing any issues identified.
Conduct final inspections at the end of tenancies, including assessing property condition, identifying any maintenance requirements, and arranging the return of security deposits in accordance with tenancy obligations.
Manage property handovers and preparation of properties for re-letting.
Ensure compliance with Residential Tenancies legislation, Housing Standards, Fire Safety, BER, and PSRA requirements.
Assist in developing new business.
Candidate Requirements
A current Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) Licence is essential.
Previous experience in residential lettings or property management preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Acts and RTB procedures.
Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with administration and finance teams while also managing their own workload effectively.
Strong IT skills, including the ability to learn and utilise property management, finance, and tenancy compliance systems effectively.
Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated property professional to join a fast-paced professional letting team.
After an initial training period, there will be an option for the right candidate to work on a hybrid basis but there will be a requirement to be office based until such time as the training period is successfully completed.
