The Original Content Services Operations team is part of Apple Services Operations, dedicated to crafting a premier content experience that has a significant impact across the industry, catering to a global digital audience.
Description
We have a new opportunity for a Distribution & Inventory Operations Lead for asset distribution, servicing and tracking for Apple branded Original Content. Your responsibilities will include overseeing an international team in support of: Working with internal and external partners, tracking ingestion & facilitating delivery of all video, audio, and ancillary assets, defining expectations, managing exceptions, troubleshooting rejections and various platform functionality, with the number one goal of ensuring the complete delivery from vendors and servicing of validated inventory.
We are a group of self-starters that thrive in a team oriented environment, utilizing analytical skills to compliment problem-solving abilities, to arrive at efficient solutions- all in order to support our collective goal of completeness of our inventory, accuracy of the material we oversee, and all delivery exceptions met.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven demonstrable experience in Asset Management Operations at a studio, television network, or high level industry-related facility.
You have a strong working understanding of asset management standards and common fulfilment practices.
A proven track record of building and maintaining trust as a team lead.
Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Available to work nights and weekends as and when is required.
Up to 5% + travel required; both domestic and international.
Demonstrate working knowledge of digital archival principle, industry standard file formats and delivery best practices.
High proficiency in post production workflows and related assets. Strong Asset Management experience in the realm of digital media.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge and understanding of episodic and movie servicing workflows.
Knowledgeable of Audio/Video containers, codecs, and file formats.
Strong, working understanding of domestic and localised international versioning (multiple languages, version control).
Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (macOS, iOS, Apple Music, App Store, Books, Podcasts, Apple tv+, Vision Pro, Fitness+ etc.).
You work well under pressure with trusted experience working on complex, international, large-scale, and time-critical projects.
The ability to handle multiple projects and can thrive in dynamic environments.
Experience with implementation and management of SOP documentation.
Strong presentation skills with ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organisation
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture and know when to delegate to team DRIs.
A dedicated self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
Poised under pressure and results driven.
