Overview of Role
We are seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Consultant / Architect with deep expertise in both container platforms and virtualization technologies to join our Professional Services team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, architecture, deployment, migration, automation, and operational enablement of enterprise container and virtualization platforms, primarily based on Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, and associated Red Hat technologies.

Overview of Role
We are seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Consultant / Architect with deep expertise in both container platforms and virtualization technologies to join our Professional Services team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, architecture, deployment, migration, automation, and operational enablement of enterprise container and virtualization platforms, primarily based on Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, and associated Red Hat technologies.
Key Role Responsibilities
- You will be an SME in Redhat Openshift platform (Container and Virtualization) with a DevOps / Automation first mindset.
- Architect OpenShift Virtualization solutions supporting both VM and container workloads.
- Design highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient platforms.
- Will leading POT and transformation engagements of Private Cloud platform moves from alternate platforms such as VMware/Nutanix to Redhat Openshift.
- Will lead design workshop and review sessions with customers as part of Solution POC/POT/Project or Pre-Sales
- Develop Technical documentation (HLD,LLD, Deployment Workbooks, Migration Plans, Ops Runbooks and other Solution Artefacts to a high standard
- Mentor customer operations teams and provide technical knowledge transfer.
- Deliver consulting engagements from requirements gathering through implementation and handover.
- Automation first mindset leveraging CI/CD pipelines, Redhat Ansible, Gitops and Gitlabs as well as Integrating Redhat Openshift for Enterprise Security and Observability.
- Escalation point to Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
- It is a dynamic environment; you will be someone who likes to learn and has the ability to pick up new technologies quickly and communicates well to Customer Architecture, Application and Operations teams.
Education, Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
- 3+ years architecting and implementing Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with OpenShift Virtualization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise virtualization technologies.
- Strong RHEL assumed
- Experience successfully migrating from other enterprise virtualization technologies to Redhat Openshift Platform
- Cloud Experience in AWS, GCP or Azure (preferred)
- Automation Experience Ansible, Terraform, Gitops, Gitlab, ArgoCD
- Redhat Certification to match experience
- Preferred: RHCA, RHCA in Openshift, RHCE, CKA
- Desirable: RHCE Openshift, RHS in OpenShift Virtualization, RHS in Ansible
