Pre-qual Executive

JJ Rhatigan Company is one of Ireland’s leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Pre-Qual Executive to join our Marketing team in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on exciting multi-million-euro projects.

Objective(s): Leads the PQQ process for public and private projects including the selection of multi-party design teams and coordination of their respective responses. Works in accordance with the Company’s marketing strategy, plan, records and budgets and assists with the effective delivery of the agreed marketing plan. Champion the JJ Rhatigan brand through support and innovation.  

• Leads the Prequalification submission team, including the organisation’s participation in JV prequalification submissions with project partners 

• Participate in the development of the company’s corporate branding and quality of presentation material in relation to prequalification and tender submissions 

• Responsible for identification of and response to business opportunities for the company in both the private and public markets. 

• Develop and cultivate an intimate knowledge of the full suite of Government’s Capital Works Management Framework and all associated documents.   

• Central to the production of tender and prequalification proposal documents that meet the requirements of the submission. 

• Dedicated to meeting strict submission deadlines and ensure that deadlines are met. 

• Develop working relationships with key clients, architects, project management companies and JV partners to drive business development opportunities 

• Attend key industry conference and networking functions to stay abreast of industry trends and represent JJ Rhatigan for new business partnerships and future opportunities.  

• Prepare business development presentations as required by Directors/Regional Directors to support external meetings with prospective clients 

• Assist the pre-qual team and tender team on project detail, support brochures and the development and maintenance of presentation and submission templates.
