Construction Groundworker

Location:Wicklow (Applicants must be living in or around the Wicklow area)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Groundworkerto join our team on a variety of construction projects throughout Wicklow and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of groundworks, including concrete finishing, and capable of operating site machinery when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of groundworks on active construction sites.

• Prepare, pour, level and finish concrete to a high standard.

• Operate excavators (diggers) and telehandlers (teleporters) safely and efficiently.

• Carry out drainage, foundations, kerbing, ducting and site preparation works.

• Assist with setting out and general site duties.

• Work to site drawings and project specifications.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

• Comply with all site health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Construction Groundworker.

• Proven concrete finishing experience.

• Experience operating diggers and telehandlers.

• Full, clean driving licence.

• Safe Pass (essential).

• Manual Handling Certificate (essential).

• Must be living in or around the Wicklow area.

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.

Desirable

• Experience on residential and commercial construction projects.

• Ability to read site drawings and levels.
