This is an opportunity to take ownership of a nationwide sales territory and win new business within Ireland's private healthcare sector.
Medserv provides billing and remote practice management services that help consultants and healthcare practices reduce administration, improve cash flow and run their practices more effectively.You will identify prospective clients, develop your own pipeline and manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact and consultation through to proposal and close. You will meet consultants and practice teams across Ireland, understand their requirements and demonstrate how Medserv can support their businesses.
This is a field-based role involving regular travel throughout Ireland, supported by our Marketing and wider Commercial teams. Attendance at our Dundrum office will be arranged around client appointments, team meetings and business requirements rather than a fixed weekly office schedule.
We offer a basic salary of 45,000 together with uncapped commission. Projected total earnings are 70,000 in year one, increasing to 75,000+ thereafter.
What you'll be doing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach and targeted prospecting.
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing new business.
- Meet prospective and existing clients at their practices, hospitals and industry events across your territory.
- Take a consultative approach to understand each client's needs and recommend the most appropriate Medserv solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships that drive client retention, referrals and future growth opportunities.
- Represent Medserv at conferences, networking events and industry meetings.
- Work closely with Marketing and the wider Commercial team to support campaigns and generate new leads.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting using CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and developments within the healthcare sector.
- Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.
Essential Requirements
- 2-3+ years' experience in a business development, sales or target-driven commercial role.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing the sales cycle from lead generation through to closing new business.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Confident networking, presenting and building relationships both in person and remotely.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritise opportunities independently.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, sales activity and forecasting.
- Access to your own vehicle as regular travel to client sites is a core part of the role.

Flexibility to travel throughout Ireland and attend occasional client events outside standard business hours.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience selling business services or solutions in a B2B environment.
- Experience working within healthcare, medical, financial services or similar related industry.
- Experience selling consultative or subscription-based services.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term client relationships.
- Experience representing an organisation at conferences, networking events or industry exhibitions.

Third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.

Additional Information:
- This is a field-facing role, requiring regular travel to meet clients while maintaining an office base at our Dublin headquarters
