Join Ireland's leading EU, Competition & Procurement teams at an exciting time of growth. We are recruiting qualified lawyers with 1 - 4 years' post-qualification experience who are looking to develop their expertise in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
The Team
We advise on all aspects of EU, Competition & Procurement law, working with an impressive client base that includes domestic and global corporations, and state and semi-state entities. Our practice is characterised by close collaboration-not just within the team, but across the firm. We work seamlessly with our Corporate and M&A group, our Disputes and Investigations group, and other specialist departments to deliver market-leading advice on complex, high-stakes matters.
Collaboration is central to how we work at A&L Goodbody. Our open-door culture means you will have direct access to partners and senior colleagues from day one, and you will be encouraged to contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and cross-departmental projects. This integrated approach gives our lawyers excellent exposure to major international mandates and ensures that our clients receive comprehensive, commercial advice.
Working alongside our multidisciplinary Client Technology team, we also offer clients immediate access to innovative technology solutions, ensuring they benefit from the latest tools and best practices in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
The Role
In this role, you will develop your skills and experience across the full spectrum of EU, Competition & Procurement law, including:
Ireland's position as a European hub for major multinational corporations, combined with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission's increasingly active enforcement agenda, makes Irish competition law expertise key to this role. You will gain first-hand experience advising on domestic merger notifications, CCPC investigations, and the intersection of Irish and EU competition regimes.
Career Development and Growth
We are committed to investing in our people, and our expanding practice offers genuine opportunities for progression. As a member of the team, you will benefit from structured training, early responsibility on significant matters, and a clear pathway to advancement. You will have the opportunity to grow within an established practice that is going from strength to strength.
