JOB DESCRIPTION
Mater Transformation is a unit within the Mater Misericoriae University Hospital (MMUH) that works with frontline teams to solve complex problems in healthcare. The team includes people from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds with expertise in lean six sigma, human centred design and collective leadership.
The Service & Interaction Designer will be required to work as part of the Mater Transformation team in supporting and progressing the Mater hospital's transformation agenda. Specifically, this will involve:
• Leading on design research, concept generation, prototyping, testing and iteration of solutions
• Working collaboratively with staff, patients, carers/families and other stakeholders throughout the design process
• Working collaboratively with project managers and the wider project team to ensure a high standard is delivered in time and on budget
• Participating in planning and conducting evaluation of the improvement initiative and dissemination of findings through publication and presentations
• Carrying out administrative work associated with your programme of research.
