We are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Manager to join our Dublin team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients while supporting tax due diligence, M&A and wider transaction advisory engagements for Irish, indigenous and outbound-focused businesses.

Working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of corporate tax compliance and transaction advisory work, manage client relationships and workstreams, review technical analysis, coach junior team members and deliver commercially focused advice. You will work closely with experienced Directors and Partners while helping to support the continued growth of the practice.

As Manager, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
  • Lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance engagements, including technical reviews, tax filings, reporting, risk identification and client communications.
  • Support corporation tax due diligence, M&A tax and transaction advisory engagements, working closely with Directors, Partners and the wider Deals practice.
  • Manage client workstreams, coordinating planning, technical analysis, deliverables, budgets and timelines to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Identify tax risks, planning opportunities and technical issues, providing practical advice and escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback and day-to-day support to develop capability and maintain quality.
  • Build trusted client relationships and collaborate across Tax, Corporate Finance and other specialist teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, client research and opportunity identification.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, enhancing processes and contributing to team development.
  • Help manage team workflow, ensuring priorities, deadlines and resources are effectively coordinated.

Skills and attributes

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • CTA qualification, with ACA, ACCA or a legal qualification also advantageous.
  • At least 3-4 years' post-qualification experience in corporate tax, ideally within a large practice, Big Four, top-tier professional services firm or relevant industry environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporation tax, with experience managing corporate tax compliance engagements.
  • Experience of corporation tax due diligence, M&A tax, transaction support or broader tax advisory work, or a strong interest in developing in this area.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working effectively with clients, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Commercial awareness, sound judgement, attention to detail and a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
  • Experience using AlphaTax or similar corporation tax compliance software would be advantageous.
