Head of Marketing

We are seeking a hands-on marketing leader to drive the next phase of growth for a successful SaaS product with a strong international user base.
This role will own the full go-to-market strategy, leading initiatives that expand acquisition channels, strengthen brand presence, and accelerate sustainable revenue growth.
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing a talented marketing team while leveraging data, automation, and AI-driven approaches.

Accountabilities:
As Head of Marketing, you will take full ownership of marketing strategy, execution, and growth initiatives, ensuring that all activities contribute to measurable business outcomes. You will lead a small, experienced marketing team while driving innovation across channels, partnerships, and product growth.
- Own and execute the complete marketing strategy, including channel performance, budget allocation, paid acquisition investments, freelancers, and strategic projects.
- Develop diversified growth strategies beyond existing organic acquisition channels, creating sustainable sources of traffic, leads, and revenue.
- Lead product-led growth initiatives, transforming feature launches into measurable acquisition, activation, and retention opportunities.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of senior marketers by setting priorities, establishing clear ownership, and enabling high-quality execution.
- Introduce AI-driven workflows, automation, and tools into marketing processes to improve research, production, experimentation, and communication.
- Build strategic ecosystem partnerships to expand reach, strengthen market authority, and create new growth opportunities.
- Increase brand visibility through thought leadership, community engagement, creator partnerships, and content initiatives.
- Evaluate marketing performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and create structured growth plans focused on long-term impact.
Requirements:
You are a growth-focused marketing leader with the ability to connect strategy, execution, and business results. You combine strong analytical thinking with creativity, leadership, and the ability to move quickly in a changing environment.
- Proven experience in growth marketing, owning multi-channel strategies and delivering measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing, with the ability to confidently represent a product in the SEO and SaaS ecosystem.
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams, with a leadership style that combines high standards, empathy, and accountability.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Technical fluency with tools such as HTML, CSS, APIs, or webhooks to independently create and test marketing assets when needed.
- Strong product marketing experience, ideally with SaaS products, freemium models, and conversion or upsell strategies.
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets and prioritizing investments based on business impact.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate internally and represent the brand externally.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Experience with creator-led growth, personal branding, video content, or an existing audience is a plus.
- Knowledge of German and experience with DACH markets are advantageous.
