The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team on a full-time fixed-term contract until April 2027.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring all linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented to the exceptional standards synonymous with Adare Manor.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, ironing and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and distribute linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and wear, reporting any issues to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Ensure all laundry is processed according to Adare Manor standards and procedures.
- Assist with the collection and delivery of clean linen and uniforms throughout the resort.
- Maintain laundry stock levels and report shortages when required.
- Ensure all work areas are maintained in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
- Adhere to health and safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures at all times.
- Report maintenance issues and equipment faults promptly.
- Provide a professional and efficient service in handling guest laundry requests.
