We are looking for a Business Manager for La Prairie, Brown Thomas, Dublin. In this new role, you will act as a true brand ambassador, leading by example to deliver exceptional luxury client experiences while supporting and motivating your team to achieve outstanding results. You will play a key role in driving performance, maintaining the highest service standards, and ensuring the counter reflects the prestige and excellence of the La Prairie brand.

Main responsibilities
  • Drive sell-out performance at Brown Thomas Dublin while maintaining the highest standards of La Prairie's luxury brand presentation and customer experience.
  • Achieve and exceed retail sales objectives by reversing performance trends, delivering luxury retail excellence, and maximizing business opportunities through effective team leadership and exceptional client experiences.
  • Increase market share within the prestige skincare category while ensuring full alignment with La Prairie's global brand strategy and commercial roadmap.
  • Act as a role model for the retail team, inspiring a high-performance culture and leading transformational change through coaching, engagement, and operational excellence.


Key Missions
  • Deliver annual retail sales and profitability targets through effective business planning and execution.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage a team of Beauty Advisors and Therapists, including performance management, absence management, and employee development.
  • Execute and embed the company's retail strategy across all counters while building and maintaining strong partnerships with retail stakeholders.


Main Accountabilities

Business Planning:
  • Contribute to the definition of weekly sales targets at both market and store level, including Latest Estimate (LE) updates supported by clear commercial rationale.
  • Drive retail growth by developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing store business plans, promotional calendars, and event strategies. Present detailed business plans and performance reviews on a regular basis.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities to increase sales within brand guidelines, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Take ownership of business performance within the assigned area, providing regular insights, identifying trends, and implementing timely corrective actions.
  • Deliver high-quality weekly performance reviews by store, ensuring clear analysis, actionable recommendations, and measurable follow-up.
  • Proactively communicate business opportunities, risks, and stock-related issues to Head Office teams as soon as they are identified.
  • Effectively manage absence planning, including annual leave and sickness, ensuring holiday requests are communicated at least one week in advance to facilitate agency cover where required.
  • Ensure complete accuracy and compliance across all sales reporting systems, including IPPOS, clienteling, and other retail reporting tools.


Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and inspire Beauty Advisors and Therapists to consistently deliver exceptional client experiences while adhering to La Prairie's service standards, grooming guidelines, and professional behaviours.
  • Partner with the Retail Coach to analyse KPIs, identify development opportunities, and implement targeted coaching plans that improve sales performance and service excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture through regular coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Identify consultant's onboarding needs to ensure good customer service, selling skills and achievement of goals within first 3 months of employment. In partnership with the Retail Coaches and Education


Marketing & Visual Merchandising:
  • Ensure flawless execution of all in-store marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and brand initiatives in line with La Prairie guidelines.
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards and consultant grooming, protecting and elevating the luxury image of the brand at all times.


Retailer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with department and store management through regular business meetings, performance reviews, and strategic business updates.
  • Present promotional plans, business performance, and consultant development updates to retail partners.
  • Identify and develop local commercial opportunities, including client events, pop-up locations, personal shopping initiatives, and other activities that enhance client acquisition and sales performance.
