Post Summary: To provide full clerical/administrative support and customer service to line managers, colleagues, staff, and students to ensure the smooth running of all the operational activities Academic Registry on a day-to-day basis.
Post status: 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract
This contract is offered on a fixed-term basis due to an increase in undergraduate application volumes. This role has been established to provide full clerical and administrative support, as well as high-quality customer service during a period of heightened demand. This increase is currently under review to determine whether it represents a sustained, longer-term trend. The post will provide essential additional capacity to manage the current workload and maintain service standards while this scoping work is underway. The nature of this employment contract is fixed term as the function of the role as outlined will be subject to this review and may not continue in its current form. The longer-term need for this position will depend on the outcome of the review, it will come to an end following the review and should a continuing need be identified, any future post will be subject to open competition.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€34,023 - €52,232 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
