About the Role

The Region Lead is the most senior Accenture leader on the SMB program in region, with full accountability for the commercial, people and operational outcomes of the SMB Sales & Account Management program. The role's primary mandate is to create the conditions in which a 320 person program can focus on and succeed at revenue generation - removing blockers, managing the internal infrastructure, and leading from the front on client and commercial matters. Day-to-day execution is delegated to the Operations Lead (deputy and second-in-command) freeing the Region Lead to operate at a strategic level.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management
  • Primary counterpart to the Client Region Lead; ultimately accountable for driving a positive client experience across the region, evidenced by quarterly survey scores.
  • Conduct skip-level check-ins with the Ops & Function Lead's and the client stakeholders to gauge sentiment across levels.
  • Collaborate with global Accenture peers for best practice sharing; leverage the broader ACN ecosystem (SONG, Data & AI, PMO) to bring additional programme value.


Operational Oversight
  • Create an environment optimised for revenue generation by managing Accenture's internal support functions (HR, recruitment, facilities, finance, contract management).
  • Maintain the right staffing levels and manage the employee experience lifecycle at scale: hiring, career development and total rewards.
  • Identify and remove blockers to revenue generation; serve as the regional escalation point for all programme-level issues.


People Management
  • Direct line manager for the Ops Lead and Function Leads: responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring and performance management of each.
  • Coach the Ops Lead to support their people leadership, revenue management and operational strategy execution.
  • Ensure the region operates with the planned headcount and right quality of resources; own region-wide leadership talent strategy and succession planning.


Commercials Management
  • Management of program P&L supported by ACNs Finance Team to keep program operating within planned budget. Includes review and approval of payroll, non-payroll and incentive details
  • Vet contractual inputs on SOWs and Change Orders, with focus on scope, headcount and Client Opex spend.


Strategic Input
  • Partner with the Client Regional Lead to understand regional strategy and translate it into Accenture's operational roadmap in lockstep with the Operations Lead.
  • Coach the Ops Lead and Function Lead on operations strategy, thought leadership and innovation in their respective areas.
  • Surface ideas and initiatives in global forums for best practice sharing and potential scalability; bring the full value of Accenture locally and globally.

  • Account Accenture Senior Global Delivery Leadership (above region level)

  • Function Leads (3x) - each owning a specific sales or account management function
