FM104 & Dublin's Q102: FM104 is Dublin's leading local commercial radio station and the first local licensed commercial broadcaster in Ireland. It has held a dominant position at the top of the market for many years as Dublin's Hit Music station. Designed for 15-34 year old Dubliners, FM104 is the soundtrack to their young, urban lifestyle.

Dublin's Q102 caters to a 35-54 audience, offering a carefully curated music mix that blends the best of today's adult contemporary releases with the biggest hits from past decades. With a focus on feel-good listening, Q102 is dedicated to 'Brightening Your Day'.

Your Role: As the Promotions and Brand Manager for FM104 and Q102, you will be the driving force behind our brand identity and audience engagement. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative promotional strategies across radio, social media, and events to enhance brand awareness, loyalty and audience growth.

You will work closely with Content, Programming, and Sales teams to seamlessly integrate promotional activities, develop strategic partnerships, and manage sponsorships. You will create compelling campaigns that attract new listeners and deepen existing audience connections.

Day to day you will:

  • Be a Brand Ambassador, living and breathing the brand personality and company values, representing FM104 and Q102 in a premium and consistent way across all audience and client interactions.
  • Lead and manage the Promotions team, ensuring all on-the-ground activities are always on brand, aligned with strategic objectives and delivered to a high standard.
  • Manage the client roster and oversee the merchandising budget for both brands.
  • Plan, create, and manage innovative promotional and brand campaigns for all of our media partnerships, from the Dublin Marathon or St Patrick's Festival to Pride.
  • Identify and bring to life commercial opportunities through a partnership and promotions calendar, delivering a connected and integrated consumer experience that drives sustainable growth.
  • Play an active role within the Marketing team taking ownership of brand campaigns throughout the year.
  • Enhance audience engagement through targeted promotions, competitions, and interactive experiences that build loyalty and brand affinity.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Programming teams to integrate promotional activities seamlessly into on-air and digital content.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all promotional materials and channels.
  • Manage budgets for promotional activities, ensuring cost-effective execution and ROI measurement.

  • Experience in promotions, brand management, event management, or marketing, ideally within media, entertainment, or a fast-paced consumer environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
  • A passion for radio, music, and audience engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of Dublin and the surrounding area.
