As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Kilkenny.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional service.
Working closely with clients, insurers and colleagues, you'll play a key role in managing commercial insurance portfolios, supporting renewals, handling policy administration and ensuring clients receive the best possible outcomes.
How you'll make an impact
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to your portfolio.
- Managing renewals, obtaining terms from insurers and identifying alternative solutions where appropriate.
- Handling mid-term adjustments efficiently and proactively.
- Preparing accurate client documentation and ensuring all records are maintained correctly.
- Managing client and insurer queries with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Processing policies, confirming cover and obtaining outstanding documentation.
- Preparing policy documentation, debit notes and summaries of cover.
- Supporting credit control activities and resolving account queries promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legal and company requirements.
About you
- Experience in a Commercial Account Handler or similar insurance role within a brokerage or insurance environment.
- Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification (mandatory for this MCC-regulated role).
- Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products and services.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing competing priorities and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence engaging with clients, insurers and colleagues at all levels.
