Overview

To support on-site project demands, PM Group is seeking to hire a CQV Engineer to join our site-based Managed Services team in West Dublin.

The successful candidate will support the Senior CQV Engineer on site by drafting and/or executing validation protocols.

This is initially a 9-month contract, with the possibility of extension, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Our site-based Managed Services team provides a cost-efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our client. We deliver projects with capital values ranging from €100k to €15M, managing them from concept through every stage of the project lifecycle to handover. Whether it is a simple pump replacement or a complex building extension, we oversee all aspects of project delivery, from initial concept to implementation. Our team safely delivers a diverse portfolio of projects, including buildings, utilities, process installations, regulatory upgrades, and equipment replacements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all CQV activities associated with execution from the initiation/concept phase through construction to handover of multiple projects thus ensuring that all CQV activities are delivered to meet client expectations to the highest safety, environmental, quality, and operational & performance standards.
  • Direct support for the project managers who are delivering the projects
  • Communicate and troubleshoot any issues arising from doc prep and doc execution phase of projects.
  • Identify the appropriate Commissioning and Qualification strategy (IC/IQ and OC/OQ) to apply on specific project and define the list of activities required
  • Assess and manage the requirements for CQV execution support from vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes.

Qualifications

  • Third Level Degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience using ValGenesis validation platform is of benefit but not a requirement

  • A minimum of 5 years experience working within a GMP environment as a CQV or Project Engineer

  • Be a good oral and written communicator and be capable of presenting themselves and the company in a professional manner to clients and potential clients
  • Proficient in project management controls and understand multi-function projects requiring both internal and external resources
