Freight Forwarder
Dublin
Mon-Fri, 09.00-17.30, 37.5 hours
Salary 45.000-50.000 per annum

As an Air Freight Operator, you play a key role in handling shipments from start to finish, ensuring customer expectations are met and operations run smoothly.
What will you be doing?
Use internal systems to manage documentation and operational processes
Organise workflows to meet customer deadlines and service levels
Communicate with customers to gather relevant information and ensure their needs are met Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
Maintain customer profiles and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Resolve customer issues and escalate where necessary
Coordinate with subcontractors and partners to arrange transport of goods
Raise invoices to customers and overseas offices in line with agreed rates
Monitor profitability of shipments and maintain financial awareness
Complete all administrative tasks in line with company policies and procedures
About you
Experience in air freight operations and a solid understanding of the air freight market
Ability to negotiate with airlines, suppliers, and international offices
Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, including phone-based customer interaction
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
Strong administrative and customer service mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost and profitability
