The Role

Inflight Dublin is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Metadata Executive to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that inflight entertainment content and information are accurately managed and delivered to airline clients worldwide.


Working across multiple airline accounts, you will be responsible for maintaining metadata, coordinating content updates, supporting quality assurance processes, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, system manufacturers, and clients to ensure the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Metadata Team Lead, the Candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage large volumes of media-related data

  • Enter and manage data across internal systems and external system manufacturers’ platforms

  • Take ownership of assigned airline accounts, acting as the subject matter expert for metadata and content updates while collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external system manufacturers

  • Oversee key updates for essential airline content such as announcements, ads, and safety slates

  • Create and maintain essential documentation, including error reports, quality assurance checklists, and comprehensive airline handbooks

  • Timely, polite and accurate internal and external communications

  • Regularly assess workload and prioritize tasks based on business requirements and guidance from senior team members

  • Ensure all assigned deliverables are completed on time

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency, and contribute to the enhancement of metadata processes and workflows

  • Support onboarding and training of new team members as required

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and delivery according to key performance indicators (KPIs)


The Candidate

The key attributes and skills that we are looking for in candidates are:

  • Third-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, mainly Excel

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Strong administration and organisation skills

  • Eye for detail to ensure high accuracy

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to work on your own initiative

  • Willingness to learn new processes and tasks
