Purpose of the job
Ensures the quality of the parts produced by inspecting parts visually and through measuring devices; records measurement information and alerts appropriate personnel of any deviations from the customer specification or part print.
Key responsibilities
Area of responsibility 1:
Indicates the status of the part (Accept/Reject) according to proper procedure and specifications; packages parts per customer specification and places finished product in correct location
Area of responsibility 2:
Completes report on a daily basis; records scrap, and other target related issues
Area of responsibility 3:
Check’s part counts by weighing them; sets scale and verifies scale accuracy
Area of responsibility 4:
Adhere to all safety precautions with machinery, tools, and devices, including use of relevant personal protective equipment (e.g. gown, cap, safety shoes, etc.) and maintains methods/procedures and all supporting documentation to meet the requirements of Quality Systems ISO9001:2000, ISO13485 and Environmental Management Systems ISO14001

Essential criteria
Previous relevant experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Ability to work a 4-cycle shift roster/pattern

Previous experience in a GMP environment
Have good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills

Ability to multitask.
Strong communication skills
Basic knowledge of computers
Strong health safety awareness
Desirable criteria
Previous relevant manufacturing experience
A certificate in manual handling is an advantage

Continuous movement during shifts involving standing, walking and bending. Material manipulation – moving, lifting and positioning loads up to designated weight limits using mechanical assistance when required. Spatial navigation – manoeuvring equipment loads precisely through narrow aisles and high traffic zones.

Physical movement of materials, inventory and packing

Reporting of any health safety or compliance issues to management when they occur.

Basic salary and complementary and variable pay components:
Basic salary range:
€29,185.15
Complementary and variable pay components:
€35,897.74 inclusive of shift Sunday premium.
