Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations in a busy distribution environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in accuracy, and contributes to smooth warehouse flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other manual handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas

• Move, stack, and organise stock according to site procedures

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch

• Carry out stock checks and support inventory accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures

• Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet daily targets

Requirements for the role:

• Valid forklift licence requiored (Counterbalance)

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment beneficial

• Experience in goods-in, goods-out, or inventory control would be beneficial

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety

• Ability to lift and move items as part of daily tasks

• Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude

• Comfortable working in a physical, hands‑on role

This is a short term temporary position.
