We have an exciting opening for a HR Operations Manager role, here at Brown Bag Studio. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established HR Operations team, in an environment that is filled with creativity and talent. Working closely with the VP of HR, HR generalist & team, and the wider management team, the HR Operations Manager will lead all general HR activity. Acting as a trusted advisor to management and supporting employee relations across the business, and contributing to resource planning, HR metrics, the delivery of accurate management reporting information.

Please note that our studio operates on a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week required in the studio.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Conducting regular one to one meeting with all key stakeholders.
• HR Guidance: in line with employment legislation and best practice, advising and giving guidance on all related HR areas. Providing support specifically for complex issues with de-escalation and informal resolution the initial approach.
• Leadership: Leading and developing the overall HR operations team, in all areas of HR Ops and ensuring their continued development and supporting them to reach their full potential.
• HR Ops: Working closely with the HR Generalist role, overseeing the HR Administration/Recruitment team tasks across the overall HR function including all employment contracts and records, work permits, employee letters, trackers, end to end recruitment etc.
• Employee Lifecycle: Managing the HR Operations team in developing, managing and evolving the employee process and experience through processes and programs that span across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, during employment, performance cycles and offboarding).
• HRIS: The management of the HR information systems, currently (MILO), to enable accurate and up-to-date management information on all people data and action-based reporting.
• Reports: Provide regular accurate reporting to the VP of HR on various people data, with analysis and action-based solutions.
• HR Processes: Leading continuous improvement, by embracing AI tools, to support the continued development of HR processes and systems driving improvements, automation and efficiency.
• Policies: Ensuring HR policies/procedures are in line with employment legislation and best practice ensuring compliance management, constructive employee relations and minimal employment risk exposure.
• Benefits: Managing the development and maintenance of a clear, transparent and comprehensive benefit system that attracts and retains high calibre staff.
• Compensation: Participating in compensation planning, including the benchmarking of roles throughout the year and administer the salary review process.
• Payroll: Overseeing payroll processing appropriately for IRL & UK.
• H+S: Working closely with Facilities team on appropriate health & safety assessments.
• Learning & Development: Working closely with L&D on management and staff training, including compliance.
• HR Team: Working with the wider HR team on cross- HR projects and initiatives to encourage a one team approach
• HR Projects: Leading and participating in both global and local HR projects as required.

Key Requirements
Knowledge (Essential)
• CIPD 3rd Level HR /Employment law Qualification or similar.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working at a Senior HR Generalist level role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative environment

Experience (Essential)
• Experience of HR Operations from a company of similar size (250+ employees)
• Team Management- demonstrable line management experience
• HR Fundamentals
• HRIS literacy
• Office 365 competency
• Strong experience in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels within organisation.

(Desireable)
• Experience in creative or similar sector
• AI tools- some exp and curiosity using AI tools.
• Payroll management - experience with responsibility of payroll management
