Location: Victoria Casino, Cork| Job Type:Part-Time, 16 hours, 2 nights per week, 11:00pm - 7:00am | On-Site

The Role

As a Customer Assistant, you'll be the face of the venue - the first person customers see and the one they come to with questions. You'll support cash transactions, keep the floor looking its best, and make sure every visitor feels welcome and looked after.

This is a people-first role. If you naturally make others feel at ease, you're calm under pressure, and you take pride in doing things properly - you'll fit right in.

Hours of work are 11pm - 7am including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver standout customer service - welcome every guest, answer questions, and make people feel at home


  • Manage cash transactions - handle payouts, floats, and all cash operations with speed and accuracy


  • Support promotions - let customers know about current offers, events, and our Vantage Club loyalty programme


  • Keep the venue looking its best - maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the floor, supporting with cleaning procedures as required


  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as part of the shift team


What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year's experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles (direct gaming experience is not required - we'll teach you the industry)


  • Cash handling confidence - you've worked a till, handled floats, or managed transactions before


  • A genuine people person - warm, approachable, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of customers


  • Reliable and team-oriented - you show up, you support your colleagues, and you take pride in your work


  • Good attention to detail - particularly with cash and compliance
