The Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) will work closely with his/her HSCP colleagues on the FIT Team to develop and deliver a specialist inpatient and outpatient (as required) communication and swallow service to the frail population presenting to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) Emergency Department (ED). The Clinical Specialist SLT will oversee the development of the Care of the Older Person SLT service and will provide clinical input in other areas of the service as required.
