The Opportunity
Our client, a global aircraft leasing platform, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its growing in-house legal team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aviation lawyer with strong aircraft leasing and finance experience to take ownership of complex international transactions while partnering closely with commercial, technical, finance, and asset management teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's leasing, financing, trading, and portfolio management activities across a global platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Draft, review and negotiate aircraft leasing, financing, acquisition, disposal and trading documentation.
· Provide legal advice on transaction structures, risk allocation, regulatory matters and commercial agreements.
· Support portfolio management, financing and asset trading activities.
· Manage and coordinate external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
· Review commercial contracts supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
· Assist with corporate governance, compliance and internal policy development.
· Develop legal templates, procedures and best-practice documentation.
· Partner with senior stakeholders to facilitate efficient transaction execution.
· Support and mentor junior members of the legal team.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland, UK, Hong Kong, Australia or Singapore.
- 3+ years' PQE with aircraft leasing, aviation finance or structured finance experience.
- Background gained within an international law firm, aircraft lessor, financial institution or aviation platform.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage complex cross-border transactions.
- Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused.

- Debt financing and secured lending structures.
- Cross-border regulatory and compliance matters.
