Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering
The RESR project, supported by SFI, focuses on developing innovative, mobile, and scalable renewable energy storage solutions using ammonia-borane as a hydrogen carrier. The research integrates process simulation, technoeconomic analysis, and life cycle assessment to evaluate the feasibility and environmental impact of various storage scenarios. Centered on ammonia-borane, the project draws on deep expertise in thermodynamics and hydrogen-based energy systems. This interdisciplinary effort also fosters collaboration with leading researchers to advance the development of efficient and sustainable hydrogen storage technologies.
Research Assistant Salary: €34,129 - €44,311 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
