Description
Our new Cherrywood office will be seeking a personable and organised Receptionist to join our Front-of-House team in August. This person will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients, visitors, and employees while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including managing reception duties, coordinating meeting and event setups, and maintaining office functionality. As the first point of contact, the Receptionist supports general administrative tasks, and ensures the office is well-organised, stocked, and operates efficiently to meet the needs of staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Welcoming clients, visitors, and employees with a warm and professional attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate personnel or department, taking messages when necessary, and ensuring phones are staffed at all times throughout office hours.
Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings, including overseeing meeting and event setup to ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment is available and functional. Support basic IT and AV troubleshooting as needed.
Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail as needed.
Assisting with various clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies, including tracking inventory and ordering as needed.
Ensuring the reception area and kitchenette are clean, organised, and restocked throughout the day.
Conducting regular floor walks to uphold office upkeep and addressing any issues promptly.
Maintaining a log of visitors, manage visitor badges, and provide basic security by controlling access to the office.

Key Requirements
Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative in a similar role, ideally in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
