Role Profile

The Placement Administrative Support professional will support the delivery of key activities across INTRA, and International Mobility. This role offers broad exposure to student engagement, employer relations, communications, and event coordination within a dynamic university environment. The role will report to the Director of Placement with a dotted line to the INTRA Manager and International Mobility Manager for the administration and implementation of the University's work placement programme "INTRA" (INtegrated TRAining) and International Mobility administration. The role will support the provision of the service to students, partners, academic tutors, employers, internal DCU colleagues, and external partners. The successful individual will be a motivated self-starter who will strive to enhance the DCU Placement student experience.

They will act as a first point of contact with students taking the INTRA module, international mobility students on year abroad, exchange and or Erasmus, staff undertaking mobility and will liaise with employers and external organisations.

They will be involved in scheduling of INTRA interviews with students which are conducted by external organisations, both on campus and externally, and in providing front line assistance to students and visiting employers. It is a key position within the team and of fundamental importance to the success of INTRA and International Mobility functions.

Salary Scale:

Professional 2 Salary Scale - €35, 832 - €43,100

Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
