Territory Account Representative
At CPM, we hire for attitude and train for skills. Whether you are returning to employment, looking to build new skills, or ready for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for a Territory Account Representative (6 month secondment backfill) to join CPM, working in close partnership with Diageo and its Account Executive team.
This role is a key part of the wider Diageo commercial structure, taking ownership of a large portfolio of smaller-volume on-trade accounts across a wide territory. While individually these accounts are smaller, collectively they represent a significant proportion of Diageo's overall business, making their effective management, support, and development critical to overall performance.
Working in partnership with Diageo Account Executives, you will ensure these customers receive consistent, high-quality support, helping to protect existing business, resolve operational issues, strengthen customer relationships, and identify opportunities to increase distribution and sales. This role allows Account Executives to focus on larger strategic accounts while ensuring this important segment of the business is fully supported and commercially developed.
Territory Coverage
This territory covers Counties, Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon, and Galway, representing a diverse and fast-moving on-trade market.
Due to the size and geography of the territory, efficient travel and strong call coverage are essential. The successful candidate's location will therefore be an important factor in ensuring effective territory management. Candidates based in or around Sligo would be particularly well positioned to maximise customer contact time and manage the territory efficiently.
Diageo Brands
Working in partnership with Diageo means representing some of the world's most iconic and trusted drinks brands across spirits, beer, and ready-to-drink categories. The portfolio includes leading brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Gordon's, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Johnnie Walker.
This role provides the opportunity to work directly with these brands in the on-trade, helping customers improve their drinks offering, increase sales, and strengthen the visibility and performance of Diageo products within their outlets.
The Role
As a Territory Account Representative, you will act as an extension of the Diageo Account Executive team, taking responsibility for a high-volume portfolio of smaller accounts that are strategically important to the wider business.
You will work closely with Account Executives to ensure customers are supported, issues are resolved quickly, and opportunities for growth are identified and acted upon. By owning this segment of the market, you will help protect revenue, maintain service standards, and ensure no commercial opportunity is missed.
