We are looking for an Academic Support Manager for Kaplan International Languages in Dublin to support the Director of Studies with the day-to-day management of the academic department, deliver high-quality English language teaching, oversee academic administration, and help ensure an outstanding student experience.
This will be suitable for someone who has EFL teaching experience, including exam preparation and/or business English, strong administrative skills, and the ability to build rapport with international students while supporting and motivating colleagues.

What you’ll bring to the role
In this role, you will:
Work alongside the Director of Studies to support the teaching team and the overall running of the school.
Deliver well-planned, engaging, and successful lessons in line with Kaplan’s Global Curriculum and KIL Teaching Standards (up to 6 hours per week)
Assist with academic administration: Attendance, Records of Work, Testing, Student Progress Reports, and any other administrative processes that support the smooth running of the academic department.
Contribute to the development of teaching materials.
Lead and participate in the CPD programme.
Manage the academic department in the DoS’s absence
What you’ll bring to the role:
Ability to teach creatively and effectively, achieve results and inspire students to learn.
Experience in teaching all levels as well as exam preparation and/or business classes.
Ability to relate to, build rapport and motivate colleagues and international students.
Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and as a member of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent IT skills and experience in using IWBs in the classroom.
Experience in administration work (preferably in an ELT environment)
