Change Management Specialist - EHR Implementation

Location: Ireland (Hyrbid)
Job type: 12 month fixed term (September 26 - September 27)

Overview of role:

Reporting to the Change Management & Communications Lead, the Change Management Specialist will support the delivery and embedding of change initiatives across the EHR programme. This role will focus on organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications support, and adoption activities to support successful implementation of MEDITECH Expanse across all sites. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, operational, business, technical, and programme stakeholders to ensure that change impacts are identified, managed, and effectively implemented throughout the programme lifecycle. This role will also support the coordination and delivery of future-state workshops, helping to ensure workflows, organisational impacts, and operational changes are captured, communicated, and embedded effectively across the programme. This is a 12-month fixed term contract
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of the programme-wide change management strategy
  • Assist in organisational readiness and adoption activities across all sites
  • Support stakeholder engagement and communications initiatives
  • Coordinate and support future-state workflow workshops
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, business, technical, and operational teams
  • Support training readiness activities alongside the Training team
  • Assist in monitoring programme readiness and adoption progress
  • Contribute to communications planning and delivery across the programme
  • Support Go-Live readiness and post-Go-Live stabilisation activities

Specific Accountabilities
  • Conduct change impact assessments across workstreams
  • Support development and execution of change readiness assessments
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, and outputs for future-state workshops
  • Support development of future-state workflows and operational processes
  • Identify stakeholder impacts, resistance points, and adoption risks
  • Contribute to stakeholder analysis and engagement planning
  • Support development of SOPs aligned to future-state workflows
  • Assist in development of communications materials, FAQs, user guidance, presentations, and programme updates
  • Track and report on adoption KPIs and readiness indicators
  • Support alignment of change activities with programme timelines
  • Assist with Go-Live planning, readiness activity, and hypercare support


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Healthcare, HR, Organisational Change, Communications, or similar)
  • Experience supporting change management within large-scale transformation or digital programmes
  • Experience coordinating stakeholder engagement, communications, and organisational readiness activities
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, or operational engagement sessions
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills
  • Experience developing presentations, communications materials, and programme updates
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across clinical, operational, business, and technical teams
  • Experience working within healthcare, or digital transformation programmes is desirable
  • Understanding of change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci, or similar frameworks
  • Experience supporting future-state workflow development, Go-Live readiness, or system implementation activities is advantageous
