Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:

  • Extensive practical experience delivering Oracle projects and workstreams with a proven track record of leading complex projects from planning through execution, combined with a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Financials, Supply Chain, or HCM) and exposure to solutions architecture.
  • Proven Project and team leadership capability, with demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing delivery teams, applying formal project management methodologies (Activate, Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2), and delivering on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, engage appropriately at all levels (from operational teams to C-suite), and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences with clarity and impact
  • Comprehensive delivery expertise spanning project planning and scheduling, risk management, change management, data migration awareness, and testing methodologies, with consulting experience and Oracle certification (Finance or Supply Chain) highly valued


What type of work will I be doing?

  • Lead and manage large-scale Oracle projects and workstreams, owning planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and mitigation strategies, with regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including business stakeholders, technical experts, and external vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across all workstreams
  • Monitor progress and manage risk, identifying issues early, implementing mitigation strategies, and conducting regular status meetings to keep all parties informed and engaged
  • Ensure compliance and best practice adherence throughout the project lifecycle, applying Oracle best practices, industry standards, and company policies to deliver quality outcomes
  • Lead change management and adoption initiatives, facilitating smooth transitions to new Oracle systems and processes, and supporting stakeholders through organisational change
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations, communicating effectively, and positioning Deloitte as a trusted strategic advisor throughout the engagement
  • Contribute to practice growth and pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and identifying opportunities to expand Deloitte's Oracle delivery capability
