Project Engineer

Job Description Project Engineer - Utilities / Facilities (Intermediate) About the Role Our Client is seeking an intermediate Project Engineer to support site capital projects across utilities, facilities, and infrastructure within a GMP manufacturing environment. This role will involve supporting the delivery of upgrades, modifications, and installations across clean utilities and plant systems, while working closely with cross-functional teams and contractors onsite. Suitable for an engineer with GMP experience looking to build further exposure across utilities or process-related projects. Key Responsibilities Support delivery of utilities and facilities projects from design through to commissioning and handover Work on systems including WFI, Purified Water, Clean Steam, HVAC, compressed air, and chilled water Coordinate activities with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and external vendors Support contractor management and ensure safe project execution Prepare and maintain GMP documentation (URS, test protocols, commissioning plans) Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and system handover Experience Required 3-7 years' engineering experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing environment Background in utilities, facilities, or process engineering Understanding of project lifecycle (design commissioning handover) Experience with GMP documentation and change control Desirable Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Electrical, etc.) Exposure to validation / qualification activities
