Sales Executive – Eucon Ireland

Eucon part of the Irish Continental Group, is a leading provider of container shipping, logistics, and transport services between Ireland and Continental Europe. We offer reliable door-to-door and quay-to-quay freight solutions, supporting customers across a wide range of industries. We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Sales Executive to join our Ireland-based commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as key account point of contact for a portfolio of Eucon clients.

  • Develop and grow the volumes associated to the portfolio.

  • Grow the bottom-line margins associated to the portfolio.

  • Find new business opportunities to add to your portfolio.

  • Take appropriate actions within reason to maintain client satisfaction.

  • Assist other members of the Eucon Sales Team in developing their accounts.

  • Prepare regular performance briefings on client activities under your remit.

  • Maintain the commercial administration of your accounts in our operating systems.

  • Ensure accurate billing and fast response time to accounts queries.

  • Research market for latest developments and share findings with the IE/NIE Commercial team.

  • Assist the Commercial Team with fast response time to rate requests.

  • Work closely with our Customer Services Team to ensure they are aware of client expectations.

  • Adapt to changing marketing circumstances.

  • Assist as otherwise directed.

Skills Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, business development, or logistics-related commercial roles.

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.

  • Commercially driven with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and account performance metrics.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience within shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, transport, or supply chain industries would be advantageous.
