Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Ability to work with and understand the protocols of installing electro polished tube and fittings, setting up purging of systems using inert gases.
- Must be able to operate and understand Arc machines and Orbitalum welding equipment.
- Ensure all welding operations meet quality standards and specifications.
- A knowledge of High Purity tools, equipment and techniques used in fabricating and installing high purity piping systems in Pharmaceutical Projects.
Essential
- Four years' experience in in orbital welding.
- Two years' experience in in orbital welding on Pharmaceutical Projects.
- Ability of reading and understanding isometric drawings.
- Adherence to QA/QC requirements and documentation.
- Must have experience in welding 2" and above.
- Documented trade experience is a requirement and hold a welding ASME 9 IX, AMI or Orbitalum certification of competence.
- Safe Pass.
- Manual Handling.
Desirable
- Have clean room fab shop experience in the fabrication of piping spools and dimensional checking of high purity pipe work in clean room conditions for orbital welding.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
