Associate Consultant - Healthcare & Risk

What the day will look like

You will be part of Aon's Health & Risk team, contributing to the evolution of the Healthcare & Risk consulting function, supporting both client delivery and the ongoing development of a consistent, high-quality consulting approach across the team. The role combines technical development with exposure to client-facing work, offering a strong foundation to progress into a well-rounded consultant.

Consulting Delivery & Client Support

  • Support the delivery of group risk consulting and broking services to a portfolio of clients
  • Contribute to renewals and new business processes, including market engagement and insurer analysis
  • Prepare high-quality client reports, presentations, and data-driven insights, helping Consultants develop practical recommendations and strategies for clients
  • Participate in client meetings, supporting preparation, materials, and follow-up actions


Analytics & Consulting Insight

  • Analyse healthcare and risk data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients
  • Develop client reporting and dashboards that support clear, insight-led decision-making
  • Support group risk and healthcare consulting projects including market reviews, utilisation analysis, cost management and broader wellbeing initiatives
  • Translate data into clear, client-ready outputs
  • Support benchmarking exercises and market reviews, helping clients understand how their benefit arrangements compare against market practice


Consulting Toolkit & Process Improvement

  • Support the development of consulting tools, benchmarking frameworks, analytics, reporting capabilities and client propositions that enhance the team's advisory offering
  • Drive consistency in approach, templates, and methodologies across the team
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of innovative reporting, automation and AI-enabled solutions that enhance both client delivery and team efficiency


Capability Building & Knowledge Sharing

  • Coordinate and support internal training initiatives within the team
  • Build technical expertise in group risk and healthcare consulting
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the practice

Team & Commercial Contribution

  • Collaborate closely with Consultants, Proposition Leads, and wider stakeholders
  • Support a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
  • Maintain awareness of market developments and insurer propositions
  • Support client retention, growth opportunities and the delivery of sustainable commercial outcomes for the team
