Warehouse Operator (Goods In)

On behalf of our client, FDC Group are seeking to hire a reliable and highly organized Warehouse Operator to take responsibility for the efficient control of all goods entering our business.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all goods received into the warehouse, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and any damage.
• Accurately record stock movements within the inventory management system.
• prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders and internal shipments.
• Ensure all outgoing goods are correctly documented and loaded for transport.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments regarding deliveries and dispatches.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment.

Requirements

• Preferred - Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or inventory control role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good computer literacy and experience with stock management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred but not essential - Forklift certification.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
