The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€70,100.00 - €121,210.00

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site services operations, including facilities management, utilities, maintenance, security, cleaning, waste management, and workplace services.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and corporate EH&S, quality, and regulatory requirements, partnering with EH&S and Quality teams as needed.
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, service-level agreements, performance reviews, and cost controls.
- Develop and manage site services budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality and reliability.
- Lead and develop a team of site services professionals; set objectives, provide coaching, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with site and regional leadership on space planning, workplace strategy, and capital projects, including renovations and infrastructure upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and employee experience across EMEA sites.
- Support business continuity planning and incident response related to facilities and site services.
- Partner closely with services providers, contractors and vendors to ensure robust delivery of facilities services across sites within the Americas
- Monitors service providers' performance against established performance KPI's and escalates performance gaps to the global facilities team
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in site services, facilities management, or workplace operations within a regulated environment (e.g., MedTech, Pharma, Manufacturing).
- Prior people-management experience, including leading teams and managing performance.
- Strong knowledge of facilities operations, vendor management, and budget ownership.
- Demonstrated experience ensuring EH&S and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with site, regional, and global stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience managing operating budgets, continuous improvement programs, EHS&S improvement initiatives, and cost optimization initiatives.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional (EMEA) operations.
- Experience leading capital projects and workplace transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy-management programs.
- Experience in matrixed, global organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Other:
- Languages: Fluency in English required; German preferred.
- Travel: Limited, up to ~20% travel within EMEA.
- Certifications: Facilities Management or EH&S certifications (e.g., IFMA, NEBOSH) preferred.
