We are currently looking for a Part-time Waste Operatives to join our team at our facility in Kilkenny, Ireland

Working pattern: Monday - Sunday shifts, average of 16 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

• To service hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection points throughout the client site
• Empty Non-hazardous bins and filling and use of the general waste compactor
• Filling and use of the Dry Mixed Recyclable Compactor Baling of cardboard, plastic, and paper waste streams
• Loading of curtainsiders and containers by use of a forklift
• Completion of all ADR/IMDG paperwork for shipments of hazardous waste off-site
• Decanting of hazardous waste streams on site
• Completion of all relevant paperwork with regard to non-hazardous waste
• Other paperwork and admin duties
• Liaise with waste management vendors
• Salting of the car park over the winter months

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in Environmental or Waste management is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation
• Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Forklift training a distinct advantage
• Flexible, Honest and reliable
