Context
We are currently seeking Senior Engineers with infrastructure industry expertise, to support the exciting growth of our engineering presence in Ireland. Key areas of experience could be across Civil, Structural, Track or Railway Systems engineering design. A broad exposure to multi-disciplinary design integration is beneficial. The role can be based from our offices in Dublin or Cork as part of our hybrid working model.
You will be part of a growing team based in Ireland with established connections to our key clients and partners across the transport industry.

Missions/Main Duties
- Prepare feasibility, preliminary and detailed design inputs for rail and infrastructure schemes using industry leading design software.
- Support the preparation of contract documents as part of the tender process.
- Provide construction stage support as part of Design & Build and Employer Designed projects.
- Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies as necessary
- Collaborate with other designers and project managers to ensure design objectives are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Prepare technical documents and reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
- Ensure work produced is technically accurate and delivered in accordance with the appropriate standards and QA procedures
- Keep up to date with advances in infrastructure design and implement new technologies and design practices as appropriate
Profile/Skills
- Hold a Level 8 degree in engineering related discipline.
- Be chartered or progressing towards a Chartered Engineer (CEng) MIEI or equivalent recognised professional qualification.
- Preparation of feasibility, preliminary and detailed design for infrastructure schemes using industry leading design software.
- Experience supporting schemes through the Railway Order or Transport and Works Act Order processes is beneficial
- Demonstrable experience adhering to project management and design assurance guidelines with a desire to highlight and implement value propositions
- Demonstrable knowledge of Irish design standards and their application in line with best practice.
- Demonstratable experience adhering to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 or similar
