Key responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or similar
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to gather essential information to ensure that schedules align with project goals, budgets and timeline expectations
- Analyse data to identify risks and inefficiencies and report any potential delays or issues that could hinder the project timeline as planned
- Conduct site visits, attend weekly meetings and give support to the project management team in terms of providing detailed program timelines, weekly reports, and monthly targets
- Maintain detailed records of all scheduling, resource allocation and progress tracking activities
- Update and track construction project programmes on a weekly basis; provide accurate programme position information to the Program Manager
- Ensure role is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety and environmental standards
Requirements
Professional Skills
- Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- Significant experience in construction programming or a similar position
- Background in residential (House or Apartments) construction is desirable
- Proficient in the use of scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera. Proficiency in MS Office is also required
