Your Role in Carbery's Success
Cover holidays and absence as required in Fermentation & Distillation • Fermentation outline duties; • Permeate Cooling and additions • Vessel preparation including programmed CIP wash • Vessel filling • Checking Parameters (ongoing checks) • Vessel settling, Yeast Transfer and emptying • Preparation of Yeast Propagation vessels • Operation of Yeast centrifuges and sedicanter • Operation of RO (Reverse Osmosis) and ROP (Reverse Osmosis Polisher) plants • Record keeping of all activities • General cleaning • Other duties • Distillation outline duties: • Start up, running, shut down and CIP of the Distillation plant producing feints for storage or further processing. • Start up, running and shut down of the Rectifier producing 96% ethanol. • Start up running and shutdown of Anhydrous Plant producing 99.9% ethanol. • Load/unload tankers for customers. • Diagnose issues with Plant and take remedial actions to rectify these issues. • Carry out maintenance and other tasks as required. • Monitor Cooling Tower operations and dosing. • Attend and contribute to the relevant meetings. • Optimisation of alcohol quality and yield. • Minimise impurities in products. • Responsible for record keeping of all activities, cleaning and of any abnormal occurrence on a days' production. • The daily sampling of product and the testing in Lab as appropriate. • General cleaning

Perform any other duties when requested. This role will involve shift work when covering holidays and absence. Flexibility will be required as shift cover may be required on occasions with short notic
