We're hiring a Search Strategist to ensure EA Help content is both technically sound and optimized for how players search - across traditional search engines and latest AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Bing Copilot. You will make EA Help content more discoverable and citable, from structured data and page speed to conversational phrasing and content formatting. You will report to the Manager , Web Discovery & Performance.

We're hiring a Search Strategist to ensure EA Help content is both technically sound and optimized for how players search - across traditional search engines and latest AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Bing Copilot. You will make EA Help content more discoverable and citable, from structured data and page speed to conversational phrasing and content formatting. Responsibilities:
- You will monitor Core Web Vitals and site health, driving prioritization and influencing teams to implement scalable improvements using tools such as CrUX, Lighthouse, and Screaming Frog.
- You will lead the translation of search, AI visibility, and site health requirements into clear technical documentation (BRDs, user stories, tickets), partnering with WebOps and IT to deliver scalable fixes across Help and Forums
- You will be the SEO technical lead across launches and ongoing improvements, setting standards and guiding teams to ensure scalable implementation
- Recommend, coordinate, and validate schema enhancements across Help content, working with WebOps and IT to support implementation
- Run regular SEO audits and flag technical blockers to indexing, rendering, or AI parsing
- QA Help content structure for AI answerability and SEO best practices (headings, TL;DRs, FAQs)
- Apply E-E-A-T principles to enhance our content credibility and improve player trust
- Conduct keyword and prompt research using Semrush, ScalePost, and GSC to uncover optimization opportunities for our help content
- Define and scale internal linking strategies to strengthen topical authority and improve discoverability across the ecosystem
- Track off-page link health (Reddit, YouTube, EA.com) and recommend backlink improvements
- Analyze competitor citations (e.g., Reddit, creators, and wikis) in AI platforms to inform EA Help visibility strategy
- You will own and evolve the AI formatting playbook, defining best practices and driving adoption across Help and Forums
- Support game launches by delivering SEO readiness QA and surfacing critical visibility issues during daily/weekly/90-day reporting windows
- Leverage AI tools and partner with Business Analysts to identify scalable visibility opportunities, influence prioritization, and quantify impact on key business goals
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, search strategy, or digital optimization roles, with exposure to technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content-led search performance
- Hands-on experience working with enterprise-scale SEO and analytics tooling (e.g. Search Console, keyword research platforms, crawl diagnostics) to identify issues and validate impact
- Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and AI search systems, including site health, structured data, indexing, and how content is surfaced by search engines and AI platforms
- You have the ability to evaluate, structure, and improve Help content for clarity, discoverability, SEO performance, AI answerability, and trust (E-E-A-T)
- Experience conducting keyword, topic, and prompt research to uncover optimization opportunities, with awareness of regional and localization nuances
- Comfortable working with datasets and excel to support analysis, QA, and reporting
- You have proven ability to partner cross-functionally with content, WebOps, localization, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver search improvements
- Experience operating in structured delivery environments (sprints, launches, ongoing optimization), balancing priorities and delivering reliably
- You have a strong sense prioritization and continuous learning in an environment that is constantly evolving
