Gallagher Ireland, part of the globally renowned Arthur J. Gallagher Group, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our Dublin office on a full-time, permanent basis. With over 100 years of combined insurance expertise in Ireland, we provide tailored business, personal, and financial insurance solutions.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you'll:

• Build and manage client relationships, growing your portfolio and providing tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure the best coverage and terms for clients, ensuring their needs are met.
• Manage your workload to meet client deadlines and maintain up-to-date sales plans.
• Develop a robust sales pipeline to achieve targets and proactively seek new commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with other Gallagher teams, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring fair and respectful interactions.
• Handle renewals, prepare submissions, and issue accurate policy documentation in a timely manner.
• Stay compliant with regulatory requirements, including maintaining CPD hours and adhering to codes such as CPC and AML/TF.
• Provide expert advice to clients on policy wordings, conditions, and exclusions.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Account Executive role within a brokerage or insurance environment.
• A Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualification, with progress towards an MDI qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market, products, and services.
• A strong understanding of client markets and an established insurance industry network.
