Research Scientist - Gamma-Ray Space Detectors, UCD School of Physics, Temporary 17 months post

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist - Gamma-Ray Space Detectors within UCD School of Physics.

This post is in support of gamma-ray space detector development activity, a strategic research theme of the UCD Centre for Space Research. The particular focus is the implementation of gamma-ray detectors for nanosatellites, constellations, and other future mission concepts for astrophysics. It builds on the capability developed through the EIRSAT-1 CubeSat mission by advancing the technical complexity and scale of the instrumentation to be developed.

Fixed Salary: €56,000 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
